​One Life is a Christian mission learning centre
dedicated to providing quality English and literature education to students.
​
​​A passionate believer in the beauty of words, Joelle is an MOE-trained English and literature teacher.
A graduate from the University of Oxford, Joelle is a recipient of the MOE Overseas Scholarship (Undergrad), the Post-Graduate Scholarship, as well as the Brian Elliot Literary prize.
​
These experiences allow her to bring fresh perspectives to the classroom and inspire her students towards intellectual mastery.
Joelle has been teaching since 2016 and many students have testified of their newfound love for the subject under her tutelage.

Our classes focus on giving each student individual attention and personalised feedback.
​
Since the classes are kept very small, each student receives practices selected by the tutor based on the tutor’s assessment of the student’s needs.
​
The curriculum is flexible and will be adjusted to match the teaching and assessment schedule of the student’s school. For example, if a student has an upcoming WA on paper 1, and their school focuses on a particular theme for that paper, the lessons will be modified accordingly to equip students with the necessary skills.
